Eureka Heights Brew Co.

941 W 18th St. Houston, TX

So we started our brewery adventure by checking out Eureka Heights. My friend has actually been here once for an event called Selena Loteria. Prizes included beer and merch. She said it was awesome. It was actually my first time here and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We didn't take our kids but it is super kid friendly which is nice to know. Two events were going on while we were there. One was a Super Smash Bros Tournament and the other was Brews and Pinatas With Mom. We will definitely be returning!

The Spot

So everything is indoors and the area is huge. We sat at a picnic table and drank our beer. When we finished we walked around a bit to look at vendor stands where my friend bought a cool card. They also had cool T-shirts, game character buttons, mini posters and custom made jewelry. When we walked out and looked in a window we seen they had games and more space!

Activities/Atmosphere

Two events were going on while we were there and they do have weekly and monthly events. Something that I do want to try is their trivia nights. They also have corn hole and foosball. The employees were nice and the whole feel was very chill and laid-back.

The Beer

So since we are noobs we thought it would be nice to try their flights. I think we both pretty much enjoyed all the beers we tried and I think we both picked Buckle Bunny as our favorite. It it a great light beer. We will have to go back to try Moo Caliente because it wasn't part of the flight like we initially thought.

Buckle Bunny - Clear light gold. Light and refreshing.

Wicket Awesome - Clear copper. Light with a twinge of bitter.

Mostly Harmless - Clear dark gold. Crisp and citrus taste.

Space Train - Clear dark gold.  Mildly bitter, citrus taste.

Mini Boss - Clear gold. Strong bitterness, citrus and grapefruit taste.
